Detroit Lions – Ty Johnson, Running Back

Next up, the Detroit Lions could move one of their talented young running backs. With the addition of D’Andre Swift in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Lions now have the rookie, Kerryon Johnson, Bo Scarbrough, and Ty Johnson on heir running back depth chart.

Last season, Johnson ended up carrying the football 63 times for 273 yards. He didn’t score a touchdown, but he did catch 24 passes for 109 yards. The numbers aren’t huge, but he showed enough as a potential dual-threat back.

There are plenty of teams around the NFL who will be shopping for running back depth. At 22 years old, Johnson would be an intriguing target.

Detroit may be done making moves this offseason, but if they look to move a running back, Johnson could net them a late-round pick.
