Packers: 3 early goals for running back Aaron Jones in 2020

For a couple of years, fantasy football pundits were calling for the Green Bay Packers to ‘free’ Aaron Jones. While they weren’t saying to release him, the Packers fulfilled their requests by allowing Jones to handle an extensive workload for the first time in his career in 2019.

As a result, Jones was able to put together the best season of his career a season ago. The third-year running back out of UTEP was able to rush for a career-high 1,084 yards and 16 touchdowns for the Packers.

Nevertheless, even though they already had Jamaal Williams behind him on the depth chart, the Packers decided to draft A.J. Dillon with the No. 62 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Upon being taken by Green Bay, it remains to be seen what Dillon’s role will be next season.

Regardless of the addition of Dillon, Green Bay should continue utilizing Jones as a focal point of their offense moving forward. With that in mind, here are three early goals for Jones to obtain with the Packers in 2020.
