Predicting the Bears’ free agency moves this offseason

As the NFL free agency period begins to get underway, the Chicago Bears are going to be an interesting team to keep an eye on.

Prior to the 2019 season, the Bears were being talked about as a potential Super Bowl contender. Unfortunately, those hopes and dreams fell apart quickly. Chicago ended up missing the playoffs entirely.

Mitchell Trubisky struggled mightily and head coach Matt Nagy was unable to get the offense going. That has to change in 2020. Defensively, the Bears were still elite, but they weren’t quite as elite as they were in 2019.

There are quite a few areas the Bears must improve this offseason. Unfortunately, the Bears will only have around $14.6 million in cap space.

Let’s take a look at three predictions for the Bears’ upcoming free agency period.
