Fowler Gives the Rams a Better Chance to Win Now
As every football fan knows, the window to win a Super Bowl is very short (unless you’re the New England Patriots). The Rams realize that and are capitalizing on an opportunity to put themselves in a better position to reach the Super Bowl.
To most, Fowler has been labeled as a first-round bust, understandably so. A change of scenery might be exactly what is needed for a guy like Fowler.
The last time I checked, Los Angeles has some pretty nice scenery. Fowler is leaving a seemingly problematic locker room in Jacksonville, for a Rams locker room that is exuberant and positive in LA.
You can easily see McVay has built something special in Los Angeles, at least for the near future. This team knows a Super Bowl is the goal, after losing in the first-round of last year’s playoffs.
The whole Rams organization knows you can never be content with where you are at. Other top teams in the NFL had needs, but decided not to make any moves.
The Rams did though, in hopes that the player they got could prove to be another key piece in their race to the top of the NFL.
From the very beginning of the off-season, the Rams showed how committed they were to turning this franchise around as soon as possible.
That mentality has carried on through the regular season, with the Rams staying aggressive at the trade deadline.
If Fowler is able to reach his true potential, he could become a key contributor in the Rams efforts to bring the Lombardi trophy back to the City of Angels.
