A lot of the action in NFL free agency has come to an end but not all of the top-tier talents have signed contracts. Jadeveon Clowney is the most talented player that has yet to sign a deal and should have no shortage of suitors as a result.

A decision likely will need to be made from Clowney soon in regards to a landing spot considering training camp begins later this month. Teams will need to decide how much longer they will be willing to wait it out before opting to pursue alternative options.

Both the Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins made aggressive offers to land Clowney’s services but he turned those down. The rationale behind his decision was that he wants to play for a team that can contend during the upcoming season.

It would require a significant pay cut for Clowney to play for one of the NFL’s front-runners in 2020. Seeking a one-year contract from a team in the tier below the top contenders appears to be the best outcome the star pass rusher can have occur.

With that being said, here is a ranking of the top potential landing spots for Jadeveon Clowney in free agency.

  1. Griffen and Snakes would give more valuable plus Jets safety and 2 we would ensure a SB ! WITH this cornovirus why doesn’t the NFL extend the roster to 55 or 57 and the reserves to 16 or 20 to replace the foreseeable sick players??? Robinet
