After coming off of a tough win at home against the Detroit Lions, the San Francisco 49ers now have to fly to Kansas City to play the Chiefs. There isn’t another quarterback in the NFL that is playing better than Patrick Mahomes and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Unfortunately for the 49ers, the Chiefs have Mahomes as their quarterback.

Both the Los Angeles Chargers and the Pittsburgh Steelers were barely a hindrance to Mahomes. That explains why he has thrown for an astonishing 10 touchdowns already through two games. The 49ers are really going up against the odds here. Playing at Arrowhead Stadium is arguably the hardest place to play in. Throw that in with one of the hottest teams in the NFL lead by one of the hottest quarterbacks.
