Skip Bayless boldly states that the Buccaneers are Super Bowl bound in 2020

Tom Brady shocked the NFL by leaving the New England Patriots and agreeing to terms with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It is a massive shock the landscape of the league and makes the Buccaneers an intriguing team to talk about for the first time in a long time.

Skip Bayless is known for making incredibly bold statements and he didn’t fail us today. With the news that Brady is heading to Tampa Bay, Bayless boldly stated that the Buccaneers are Super Bowl bound in 2020.

Take a look at the clip from Bayless on his shown with Shannon Sharpe, Undisputed:

Bayless does make a good point about Brady’s fit with Bruce Arians. Prior to free agency opening, Arians actually mentioned Brady as a quarterback that would fit his system perfectly. The two together could make for a lethal pairing with the Buccaneers.

Critics have been all over Brady for his lower numbers in 2019 with the Patriots. They have been saying that age is catching up to him and that Brady will continue regressing in 2020.

In 2019, Tom Brady completed 60.8 percent of his pass attempts for 4,057 yards, 24 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. Those numbers may not be huge, but they aren’t bad either. Giving Brady weapons like Buccaneers star receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin won’t hurt anything either.

Expect to see the Buccaneers take a big step forward from their 7-9 record in 2019. Tampa Bay could very well end up winning the NFC South division, although they have stiff competition from the New Orleans Saints and Drew Brees.
