Steelers: 3 early bold predictions for QB Ben Roethlisberger in 2020

As the 2020 NFL season continues to creep closer, the Pittsburgh Steelers are becoming a more interesting team to watch. With Ben Roethlisberger looking close to fully healthy, there are some questions about whether or not the franchise can get back into playoff contention this season.

Last season, the Steelers suffered through a rough year after seeing Roethlisberger go down with a season-ending elbow injury. Neither Mason Rudolph or Devlin Hodges was able to show that they could lead a playoff caliber team.

Now, heading into the 2020 season, the Steelers have quite a few pieces in place to succeed. JuJu Smith-Schuster is still a legitimate star and James Conner, when healthy, is a true No. 1 workhorse running back. Add in the addition of Eric Ebron at tight end and Chase Claypool at receiver and the Steelers’ offense looks much more dangerous.

Pittsburgh may not be a Super Bowl contender this season, but they are absolutely good enough to make some noise in the AFC. The conference is expected to be dominated by the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs, but the Steelers are a sleeper team to keep an eye on.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three early bold predictions for Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
