Houston Texans: 6 Players to Watch in Week 3 vs. the Giants

The Houston Texans are off to an ugly 0-2 start in 2018. But a win against the visiting New York Giants could turn fortunes around. Here are six players to watch in Week 3.

Deshaun Watson led an explosive passing attack last year when healthy for the Houston Texans. Part of the reason why he put up such gaudy numbers is credited to the receiving duo of DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller. The two receivers set a franchise record in most touchdowns scored by teammates with 20 in 2018.

Now that they’ll have a healthy Watson behind center, maybe they will break their own record.

In order for that to happen, both Hopkins and Fuller will need to remain healthy. Fuller missed Week 1’s game against the New England Patriots due to a hamstring injury but returned to action for the Texans’ Week 2 loss against the Tennessee Titans, logging eight receptions for 113 yards.

Fuller and Hopkins will look to exploit a still-questionable New York Giants secondary in Week 3. They, along with a number of other players, should be in line for a solid game this weekend.

Here are the six to watch.
