The San Francisco 49ers have had an interesting offseason, to say the least. John Lynch has been busy, making a blockbuster trade with the Indianapolis Colts that sent star defensive end DeForest Buckner out of town. It was a tough move to make, but one that the 49ers needed.

With the trade, the 49ers acquired the No. 13 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. That means that they will have two first-round picks, with the other one being at No. 31 overall.

Obviously, trading Buckner has concerned some fans. He was a big part of their defensive line. However, they will be able to get two impact players in the first round.

Making sure that they nail each of those picks is a must. If the 49ers want to take the next step and win the Super Bowl, they will need both of their rookies to play a role.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at the best option for the 49ers with each of their first-round selections.
