Round 1, Pick 31: A.J. Terrell, Cornerback, Clemson

With their second first-round pick, the 49ers should target finding some help in their secondary. Richard Sherman is still a top-notch cornerback, but he needs some help. A.J. Terrell would be able to offer them that help.

During the 2019 season with the Tigers, Terrell racked up 34 tackles, 0.5 sacks, two interceptions, and three defended passes. There is still a lot of room for Terrell to grow. His current comparison, according to NFL.com, is New York Jets cornerback Pierre Desir.

Terrell would be an immediate role player for the 49ers. If they can snag him with this selection, their defense would be much more talented. San Francisco shouldn’t even think twice if they have a chance to snag him.
