What to expect from new Texans RB David Johnson in 2020

Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

David Johnson Will Score At Least 12 Total Touchdowns

With DeAndre Hopkins no longer on the roster, the Texans are going to need a playmaker that can put the football in the end zone. Johnson will help step into that role and will find himself in the end zone at least 12 times.

Johnson scored six total touchdowns last season, with four of those coming through the air. He will double that production in 2020. Houston will need every single one of them.

The Texans are not going to be as pass-heavy as they have been in recent years. Bill O’Brien obviously valued finding a running back who could shoulder a large workload. Johnson will have a much bigger role and will make the most of it by putting points on the board.
