What to expect from new Texans RB David Johnson in 2020

The Houston Texans shocked the entire NFL when they made the decision to make a blockbuster trade soon after the opening of the NFL free agency negotiating window. DeAndre Hopkins was sent to the Arizona Cardinals in a deal that brought back running back David Johnson.

Johnson was at one time one of the league’s top running backs. He was a known superstar and had a super bright future ahead of him. Unfortunately, injuries completely derailed his career.

Last season with the Cardinals, Johnson played in 13 games. He racked up 94 carries for 345 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson also caught 36 passes for 370 yards and four touchdowns.

At 28 years old, there is still plenty of time for Johnson to turn his career around. Houston will be a fresh start for him and hopefully he will be able to stay healthy. If he is, the sky is the limit for him alongside Deshaun Watson.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at some things that fans can expect from Johnson.
