Why Austin Hooper is such a huge addition for the Browns

The Cleveland Browns struggled through an embarrassing 2019 season after being hyped up as a potential Super Bowl contender prior to the start of the year. After acquiring Odell Beckham Jr. in a blockbuster trade with the New York Giants, everyone went crazy over the Browns.

Unfortunately, the team was unable to live up to the expectations. Not only did they not compete for a Super Bowl, they didn’t even end up making the playoffs.

Heading into the offseason, fans knew that the Browns were going to be aggressive. With a new head coach in Kevin Stefanski and a new general manager in Andrew Berry, some things were going to change.

Little did the fans know that the Browns were going to again swing big on the offensive side of the football. Cleveland went out and signed tight end Austin Hooper early in free agency. His addition will be a big one for the offense.

Let’s dive in and take a look at why Hooper is such a big addition for the Browns.
