The Philadelphia Eagles are expected to make a run at a championship this season. Of course, a huge chunk of their success will hinge on health and chemistry. With their main core of players set to return for the 2020-21 NFL season, experts have tagged the Eagles as one of the teams to come out of the NFC.

While the weight of the team will fall on the shoulders of QB Carson Wentz, WR Alshon Jeffery will have to shoulder some of that burden as well. Since arriving in Philadelphia, Jeffery has tried his best to make a name for himself as capable No. 1.

Well, thanks to injuries and a small dose of inconsistency, all eyes will be on him to see if he can finally deliver.

In his three seasons with the Eagles, Jeffery has caught 165 passes for 2122 yards and 19 touchdowns. Nowhere in those stats, does it scream leading receiver. This has to be the season where Jeffery sets the tone. Eagles’ fans are expecting and deserve a breakout year.

With that being said, here are three reasons why fans of the Philadelphia Eagles should be excited about Alshon Jeffery in 2020.
