Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers were one of the most talked about teams of the NFL offseason. After finishing the 2019 season with a 13-3 record and a trip to the NFC Championship Game, expectations were high for them entering the offseason.

Unfortunately, when everything is said and done, the Packers are being viewed as one of the biggest losers of the offseason.

Green Bay lost star offensive lineman Bryan Bulaga to the Los Angeles Chargers. They replaced him with free agent Rick Wagner, but it is still a big loss. In addition to losing Bulaga, the Packers failed to make big moves to improve the offense around Rodgers.

In the 2020 NFL Draft, the Packers were expected to target a top wide receiver. They had a chance to take Clemson’s Tee Higgins or USC’s Michael Pittman Jr., but instead decided to trade up in the first round for Utah State quarterback Jordan Love.

Despite some of the negativity surrounding the Packers, there are a lot of reasons to be excited about them both now and in the future. Rodgers is a huge part of the reason that fans should be excited for the 2020 season. He may have received a ton of criticism, but that is nothing he isn’t used to.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at why the Packers and their fans should be excited about Aaron Rodgers heading into the season.
