The Las Vegas Raiders are looking ahead to the 2020 NFL Draft with a few needs to focus on filling. Mike Mayock will have his work cut out for him. One of the main needs could be adding a big-play wide receiver.

At this point in time, the Raiders have two first-round picks. They hold the No. 12 and No. 19 picks. Thankfully, there are a ton of talented wide receivers available in this draft class.

Jon Gruden has always been about having a high-powered offense. He has Derek Carr, Josh Jacob, Darren Waller, and a decent group of receivers. However, the Raiders will be looking for a bigger playmaker at wideout.

That is where Alabama standout receiver Henry Ruggs III could come into play. He is without question the fastest receiver coming out of this draft and has been climbing up draft boards throughout the NFL Draft process. Las Vegas would be a great landing spot for him.

Last season with the Crimson Tide, Ruggs caught 40 passes for 746 yards and seven touchdowns. He averaged 18.6 yards per reception.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at why the Raiders should pursue Ruggs in the draft.
