The Dolphins Desperately Need Pass Rushers
Head coach Brian Flores is a defensive minded guy, but his defense sorely lacked in the pass rushing department last season. They finished dead last in team sacks in 2019, recording just 23, five fewer than the next worst.
The Dolphins leading sack man last season was Taco Charlton, who only got to the quarterback five times. Beasley would instantly be the best pass rusher along the Dolphins’ front if they sign him.
Pairing Beasley with Charlton would give Miami a solid starting point in their pass rushing rebuild. Not to mention, defensive tackle Christian Wilkins will benefit from another edge rusher as well.
Beasley’s ability to get to the quarterback would make Flores’ entire defense better in 2020.
