The Cleveland Browns are going to be one of the most interesting teams to watch this offseason. After yet another year of disappointment that started with Super Bowl hype and ended with missing the playoffs yet again, the team has completely reorganize their front office and coaching staff.
Gone are Freddie Kitchens and John Dorsey. To replace them, the Browns brought in Kevin Stefanski and Andrew Berry. Cleveland has to feel good about the changes and are hoping to get things back on track moving forward.
One position that the Browns will need to address this offseason is tight end. David Njoku was expected to break out in 2019, but injuries shut that dream down. They could choose to go with Njoku again, but there is a free agent that the team should strongly consider pursuing.
Granted, spending big money may not be in the cards for the Browns this offseason. They went big last offseason with the acquisition of Odell Beckham Jr., but that move didn’t play out how they expected. Should the Browns choose to spend money, Hunter Henry would be an ideal fit.
Let’s dive in and take a look at two huge reasons why Henry would be an ideal target for the Browns in free agency.
