Henry’s Production Speaks For Itself
Secondly, the Browns only have to look at the numbers to see why they should pursue Hunter Henry this offseason. In the 12 games that he played with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2019, Henry caught 55 passes for 652 yards and five touchdowns.
Those numbers came within a Chargers’ offense that looked bad all the way around. Giving him a high-powered offense like the one that Stefanski will implement in Cleveland would be exactly what the doctor ordered for him.
Mayfield may have some question marks surrounding him, but he is a much more talented quarterback at this point in time than Philip Rivers. Henry would be getting an upgrade in multiple ways. The production would rise if he signed with the Browns.
Cleveland may not end up winning the Henry sweepstakes, but they should try. Having a legitimate threat at tight end would change everything for Mayfield and the rest of the offense.
