The Giants can still get a solid offensive lineman if they trade back
If New York decides to trade back, chances are they’ll still be on the top 10, since the Chargers, Panthers and Jaguars all select before the ladder half of the first round.
If the Giants end up with one of those picks, they’ll still be able to snag a very solid offensive line prospect. Iowa’s Tristan Wirfs, Georgia’s Andrew Thomas, Alabama’s Jedrick Willis and Louisville’s Mekhi Becton will all likely still be on the board after the No. 5 selection.
After taking a running back and quarterback with their last two first round selections, the Giants now need to put an adequate offensive line together in front of them.
Any of those four prospects would instantly make the Giants offense better, and they’ll all be there for the taking even if New York decides to trade back a bit in the first round.
