2 huge reasons the Packers should go all-out for Robby Anderson

They Wanted Him At The Trade Deadline

First of all, let’s not forget that the Packers tried to acquire Robby Anderson ahead of the NFL trade deadline. Gutekunst wanted to add firepower to the offense and they were trying to make a move for him. Unfortunately, the Jets were asking far too much for him.

Green Bay does not usually give up on targets that they like. His issues from the past weren’t big enough to dissuade them from pursuing him in 2019. They won’t be big enough to stop them now.

Gutekunst needs to bring in a fast wide receiver who can provide Rodgers with the ability to get separation down field. Anderson fits that bill perfectly.
