2 huge reasons the Packers should have faith in Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Green Bay Doesn’t Have Much Deep-Threat Ability

Finally, another concern for the Packers in 2019 was the fact that they didn’t have much big-play ability down the field. LaFleur and company went away from Valdes-Scantling for the most part late in the season and in the playoffs. That is understandable with the struggles the second-year wideout was having.

While the struggles were there and he has to put in a ton of hard work this offseason, Valdes-Scantling is capable of making huge plays down the field. The Packers can’t afford to cut that from their roster.

Gutekunst has proven himself to be one of the better GM’s in the NFL. He isn’t going to give up on a talent like Valdes-Scantling. Green Bay will give him one more chance, but if he doesn’t perform in 2020, then we will be singing a completely different tune.
