2 huge reasons the Philadelphia Eagles must go all-out to sign Chris Harris

Looking ahead at the upcoming NFL offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles are going to be an intriguing team to keep an eye on. After coming back from a rough start to the season and shocking the Dallas Cowboys to win the NFC East division, they are going to be looking to make a few moves that will put them back into Super Bowl contention.

One of the biggest needs that the Eagles will need to focus on this offseason will be bringing in more talent at the cornerback position.

In the NFC East, the Eagles will have to go up against a ton of wide receiver talent. Names like Amari Cooper (assuming he re-signs with the Cowboys), Michael Gallup, Terry McLaurin, and even Sterling Shepard are all dangerous. Philadelphia had no answer to opposing superstar wide receivers in 2019.

That is where Denver Broncos’ impending free agent cornerback Chris Harris Jr. could come into play. He is set to hit free agency and will be a highly sought after free agent. Plenty of teams could use the kind of lockdown coverage that Harris brings to the field.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at two huge reasons the Eagles should go all-out to sign Harris in free agency.
