2 New York Giants Fantasy Football Sleepers For 2024

The New York Giants are not quite a hotbed for fantasy players in 2024. While Malik Nabers and Devin Singletary technically could be usable this season, not many expect consistent starter-level status for the players. However, for teams like the Giants, there could be a few sleepers available that other managers write off on account of them writing off the entire team.

Here are two Giants players that could beat expectations this season.

Isaiah McKenzie, WR

Isaiah McKenzie has played for a few teams in the NFL at this point in his career. The wide receiver has never been a weekly workhorse. However, as a speed option, when he hits, he booms. As such, in some weeks, managers will look like geniuses for starting him. In other weeks, they will kick themselves for benching him.

However, as a flex week-to-week option, McKenzie makes plenty of sense for managers. But do not expect the world out of the receiver. McKenzie has had two seasons of at least four touchdowns since 2020.

One knock against McKenzie is his hands. The wide receiver has dropped many passes in his career, but that’s the risk with many speed options.

Usually, teams only get receivers with hands or speed. The best receivers have some overlap in those categories. Once in a while, McKenzie delivers with his hands and his speed, which is when the point barrage begins.

Drew Lock, QB

Drew Lock isn’t a member of the Denver Broncos or even the Seattle Seahawks anymore. The one-time prospect has moved east to play for the Giants this season. While it might be a bit too early to add him to the roster this year, keep an eye on him.

Daniel Jones has lots of pressure on him to deliver through the air this season. If he fails to do so, the New York Giants will turn to his backup. Thus far, Jones has only thrown for more than 20 touchdowns once in his career. According to ESPN’s depth chart, it will be Lock who will get the nod. Lock is a gunslinger, so expect plenty of yards from him.

Of course, expect some turnovers as well. In Fantasy Football, the turnovers won’t hurt as much as they will in the live football game, but managers are not interested in whether the football team wins the game. Rather, they just want points, and Lock could be a solid source of them.
