2 players the Philadelphia Eagles should trade up for in the 2020 NFL Draft

Joe Maiorana-USA TODAY Sports

Jeffrey Okudah, CB Ohio State

Like Jeudy, most scouts peg Jeffrey Okudah as the best prospect at his position entering the draft.

Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing in at 200 pounds, Okudah has great size for an NFL corner. He’s a natural man-to-man cover corner who possesses the raw athleticism to mirror even the quickest of receivers.

The Eagles sorely lacked in the speed department at corner back last season. Okudah would immediately fix that issue and he’d have an instant impact in the ‘Birds’ secondary.

He fits well in defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz’s scheme as well. Schwartz runs a lot of man coverage on the outside, leaving his corners on an island against opposing receivers. This is Okudah’s specialty.

Last season with the Buckeyes, Okudah recorded three interceptions to go along with nine pass breakups.

If the Eagles want to get their hands on this dynamic prospect, they’ll certainly have to trade up in the first round to snag him.
