2 players the Minnesota Vikings should avoid at No. 25 in the NFL Draft

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

C.J. Henderson, Cornerback, Florida

While the Vikings do have a need at the cornerback position, C.J. Henderson isn’t the right one to target with the No. 25 overall pick. That isn’t saying that Henderson is a bad player, but there is a guy who would be an even better fit.

Trevon Diggs should be the cornerback that the Vikings target. His brother, Stefon Diggs, already plays for the Vikings. This fit would make so much sense.

Diggs has a ton of potential and would be able to develop nicely in Minnesota. Xavier Rhodes and Trae Waynes could be on their way out of town this offseason and that could open up a starting role very early on for Diggs.
