2 players the Seattle Seahawks must sign in free agency

Jadeveon Clowney, Outside Linebacker

Everyone knew that Jadeveon Clowney would be on this list. After acquiring him early in the year from the Houston Texans, Clowney became a huge staple of the Seattle defense. He played a big role in the playoffs as well.

Seattle has to keep Clowney this offseason, and there is no question about it. He racked up 31 total tackles to go along with three sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, an interception, and three defended passes. His sack numbers weren’t great, but his numbers show how productive he was.

If the Seahawks want to contend for a Super Bowl, bringing back Clowney will be pivotal. His new deal won’t be cheap, but Seattle needs to be willing to spend to keep him around.
