Jacksonville Jaguars Edge Rusher, Yannick Ngakoue

Although the Jacksonville Jaguars have expressed their desire to re-sign pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue this offseason, it doesn’t appear like a deal is imminent. The longer this drags out, the more likely the Jags are to franchise tag Ngakoue and trade him.

The Titans could really use some help in the pass rushing department. They finished with 43 total sacks as a team, tied for 13th-most in the NFL. Trading for Ngakoue would almost instantly solve this issue.

Ngakoue has recorded at least eight sacks in each of four seasons. He would provide some consistency opposite of second-year pass rusher Harold Landry, who recorded a team-leading nine sacks in 2019.

It would be a bit of a transition for Ngakoue, switching from a 4-3 defensive end to a 3-4 outside linebacker, but we’ve seen numerous pass rushers make this adjustment throughout the years.

Ngakoue would be great pass rusher to target on the trade market for the Titans.
