2 reasons Denzel Mims could be a perfect fit for the Packers in the NFL Draft

USA TODAY Sports – Jerome Miron

Mims Offers Aaron Rodgers Something He Desperately Needs

Let’s talk about Davante Adams for a minute. There is no denying he is one of the NFL’s best wide receivers, but he is not the kind of guy who is going to make electrifying plays down the field. He is an elite possession receiver who can make big plays when given the chance in the open field.

Rodgers needs a big-play wide receiver that he can target deep on a consistent basis. Mims can give him just that with his big body, speed, and athleticism. He is also known for making plays on 50-50 balls and can go up and snatch passes over the top of defensive backs.

Adding that kind of playmaker to the Packers’ aerial attack would be dangerous. Mims certainly looks the part of being a top-notch playmaker and Green Bay should strongly consider taking him at No. 30.
