2 reasons the New York Jets should consider taking a risk on Antonio Brown

AB could help Darnold finally take a major leap in development

In certain instances, a quarterback is only as good as the weapons around him. Although Darnold was slightly better in his second season than he was as a rookie, he didn’t take that big leap in production we usually see from year one to year two in young quarterbacks.

Giving him an elite weapon like Brown could change all that, along with the addition of some offensive line help.

Pairing Brown with the other free agent acquisition in Breshad Perriman could make for a solid wide receiver group in New York. Not to mention Jamison Crowder and Josh Doctson behind them.

Brown would lift this entire offense if the Jets decide to go after him. If his character is in check and he agrees to leave his antics at the door, this could be a perfect situation for both sides.
