2 sleeper targets for the Steelers at No. 49 in the NFL Draft

Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers may have missed the playoffs in 2019, but they showed some good things. Even without franchise quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, the team remained competitive for most of the season. Now, the team goes into the offseason looking to add talent.

Pittsburgh may never get back to being legitimate Super Bowl contenders with Big Ben under center. They may be in for a few mediocre seasons. However, the 2020 NFL Draft will be a huge opportunity for the Steelers to add talent that can lead them back to contention in the future.

The Steelers will not have their first-round pick this year due to the trade that brought in Minkah Fitzpatrick with the Miami Dolphins. In the second round, the franchise currently holds the No. 49 overall pick.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at the two sleepers targets the Steelers should be looking at with the No. 49 selection.
