At this point, it feels like a trade involving Jacksonville Jaguars pass rusher Yannick Ngakoue is a foregone conclusion.
Although the team is still denying they want to deal him, Ngakoue has made it clear that he does not want to sign a long-term deal with the team after they franchise tagged him.
At just 25-years-old and coming off an eight sack season, the market for Ngakoue is pretty large. According to NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo, there are “multiple interested teams” vying to land Ngakoue.
While almost every team in the NFL could use a young pass rusher like Ngakoue, these two teams should be on the phone day and night to try and pry him away from Jacksonville.
Not only because they could both use some help in their respective pass-rushing departments; acquiring a talent like Ngakoue would put both of these teams into serious Super Bowl contention.
