Round 4, Pick 112: Kenny Willekes (Edge, Michigan State)
Last offseason, the Colts signed Justin Houston in hopes he could improve their pass rush. As good as he was, Indianapolis needs to find someone that can create problems on the other side of the field.
Of the choices that the Colts will have, Kenny Willekes would be an ideal fit for their defense. At Michigan State, Willekes was a relentless edge rusher that evolved as a run defender.
Upon watching Willekes, it is evident that he could be a steal in the 2020 NFL Draft. In his final season at Michigan State, he tallied 10 sacks, 15.5 tackles for loss, and a forced fumble.
Due to being a redshirt freshman, Willekes is more experienced than other edge defenders entering the draft. The Colts could use someone like Willekes as a rotational pass rusher that eventually becomes a starter.
