2020 NFL Draft: 7-Round Post-Combine mock draft for the Rams

Round 4, Pick 116: Shane Lemieux (IOL, Oregon)

Again, the Rams need to desperately address the offensive line this offseason. During last year’s draft, Los Angeles added David Edwards and Bobby Evans in hopes that they could become mainstays on the offensive line.

Up to this point, neither has shown the consistency that they could be starters in the NFL. Also, it’s important to note that Austin Blythe is expected to test free agency, who started in 15 games for the Rams in the interior.

With a possible need in the interior, Los Angeles could view Shane Lemieux out of Oregon as a viable option in the draft. Lemieux, a four-year starter at Oregon, displayed an impressive amount of strength at guard in college.

While he lacks fluidity, Lemieux could get better as he improves his overall athleticism at the position. Even if he begins as a depth option, the Rams are getting a mauler that excels when he’s going downhill.
