2020 NFL Draft: 7-Round Pre-Combine Mock Draft For The Ravens

Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

Round 2 – Pick 60: Curtis Weaver, EDGE, Boise State

The Ravens continue to build their defense in back to back rounds to help grow an ascending unit. They could be potentially replacing Matthew Judon this offseason and Curtis Weaver is the perfect player to replace him.

Weaver is 6-foot-3 and 265 pounds, fitting the mold of edge rushers that has thrived in Baltimore. You can look to both Judon and the former Raven Za’Darius Smith as similar builds that play with power.

Weaver would be able to rush from the outside, but would also be able to go down the middle through stunts. Weaver is a capable run defender and has some experience in coverage. He is the perfect chess piece for Wink Martindale’s defense.
