2020 NFL Draft: Final 7-round mock draft for the Rams

Round 2, Pick 57: Michael Pittman Jr. (WR, USC)

As previously mentioned, the Rams decided to send Cooks to the Texans. With the No. 57 pick — the pick they received for Cooks — Los Angeles could be in the market to add a wide receiver.

The amount of talent in this year’s class of wide receivers is well-documented, giving the Rams and endless number of options in the draft. In the second round in particular, Michael Pittman Jr. should be someone that piques the interest of McVay.

Minus Cooks, the Rams still have a talented receiving corps with Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, and Josh Reynolds. Albeit, Los Angeles could use another receiver that is on a rookie contract.

Pittman stands at 6-foot-4, 223 pounds and definitely using his size to his advantage. In his final season at USC, Pittman hauled in 101 receptions for 1,275 yards and 11 touchdowns. The big-bodied receiver’s blend of height and strong hands could add another dimension to McVay’s offense.
