2020 NFL Draft: Final 7-round mock draft for the Rams

Round 3, Pick 104: Netane Muti (IOL, Fresno State)

The biggest and most glaring issues for the Rams in 2019 stemmed from the play of the offensive line. While Jared Goff didn’t perform at a high-level, part of the reason why was due to the immense amount of pressure he saw last season.

As of this moment, Los Angeles could side with either Joseph Noteboom or Austin Corbett at the left guard spot. That leaves Austin Blythe likely at center and David Edwards possibly at right guard.

Regardless of how the Rams’ offensive front shakes up, drafting an interior lineman could be a wise move. Taking that into account, Netane Muti out of Fresno State would make perfect sense in the third round.

Muti is an absolute mauler that brings a physical brand of football in the interior. Aside from needing to improve his footwork and his injury concerns, Muti could be a nice developmental project for the Rams.
