2021 NFL Free Agency: 3 reasons Dak Prescott to the Colts makes perfect sense

The Colts Will Have An Opening At Quarterback

Quite simply, the first reason is that the Colts will be in the market for a quarterback. While they brought in Philip Rivers this offseason in free agency, it was only a one-year deal. Rivers could end up being re-signed next offseason, but a player like Dak Prescott would be a better addition.

Chris Ballard has made it clear that he is willing to spend money to put a Super Bowl contender on the field. The franchise was not happy with missing the playoffs last season.

If Rivers doesn’t play well or the Colts simply decide to go a different direction, Prescott would make sense. They should absolutely consider this option next offseason if the Cowboys can’t keep Prescott.
