He Would Be A Top-Notch Long-Term Option

Finally, the biggest reason that this makes sense for the Colts would be the fact that they can afford him and he would be a top-notch long-term option. Rivers is a quality quarterback, but he only has another year or two left after the 2020 season.

At this point in time, Dak Prescott is just 26 years old. He will be 27 entering next season. That gives him a good eight to nine years of dominance.

Jim Irsay, the owner of the Colts, has made it clear that he wants to win multiple Super Bowls in the near future. Bringing in a guy like Prescott would move the Colts closer to that goal.

Prescott doesn’t get as much respect as he deserves. He is a true star and would be a huge addition for the Colts. Indianapolis would be a great fit for his game and future and the Colts would improve greatly by making the move.
