Another year, another two-team race in the NFC East. The Philadelphia Eagles are hoping it is another title brought to town. This would give them a second straight division title which is rare in the NFC East. There has not been a repeat winner since the Eagles won four in a row from 2001-05.

This could be the year. The only thing standing in the way is the Dallas Cowboys. Both Washington and the New York Giants will not be in contention as they will be focusing on developing young players, especially under center.

As for the Eagles, they are hoping they can repeat their magic from 2017. Carson Wentz will return under center after playing all 16 games a season ago. Philadelphia made great improvements in the draft and using trades.

The Eagles used their first round pick on former TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor. They made a big splash by acquiring Darius Slay in a trade with the Detroit Lions. General manager Howie Roseman is one of the best at recognizing a problem and finding a solution. There is a reason why the Eagles are set up well for the future.

The 2020 season is on the horizon but it is never too early to look at the 2021 free agent class. Here are four players that the Eagles should target once the free agency period begins next year.
