A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals

All offseason long, the Packers were rumored to be a potential landing spot for A.J. Green. Instead, the Bengals chose to place the franchise tag on their star wideout. While he will play the 2020 season on that tag, Green is set to hit the open market again next offseason.

Green may choose to stick around with the Bengals now that Joe Burrow is in town. Leaving to play with Aaron Rodgers could be intriguing for him though.

Last season, Green missed the entire year due to a foot injury. If he bounces back with a big 2020 season, the Packers would be wise to aggressively pursue him next offseason.

Bringing in a talent like Green would be huge for the Packers’ offense. Davante Adams and Green would wreak havoc on opposing defenses. This would be one of the biggest moves the Packers have ever made in free agency.
