The NFL free agency class of 2021 has tons of stars ready to hit the market. While a lot of these stars are likely to be re-signed, let’s play what-if. What if the big-name stars want to test their value? The Minnesota Vikings should be keeping an eye on some.

Perhaps some veteran players want a chance to win a Super Bowl. While a lot can change from now until next postseason, it promises to be a very interesting free agency.

While Minnesota doesn’t have the most cap space to work with, there are cuts and moves the team could make to free up some cap space. The Vikings should be looked at as a key landing spot for big-name veterans who want a chance to compete for a Super Bowl.

While Minnesota may want to make some roster moves, it is important they take care of their own first. The two players Minnesota must prioritize are running back Dalvin Cook and safety Anthony Harris.

Cook, when healthy is one of the leagues best backs. Harris had a breakout season last year, tying for the league lead in interceptions. Before the Vikings make any offseason moves, they should secure these two.

Minnesota is coming into this season as a surprise Super Bowl contender. They have a lot of talent, however, there are some pieces missing that separate them from teams like the Chiefs or 49ers. They could just be one free agent away from making that leap.

Here are four early targets the Vikings should be monitoring in the 2021 NFL free agency class.
