The Green Bay Packers saw running back Aaron Jones come through with a massive breakout season in 2019. After the fans were begging to see Jones unleashed under Mike McCarthy, the Packers were ecstatic to see first-year head coach Matt LaFleur come in and do so immediately.
When everything was said and done, Jones carried the football 236 times for 1,084 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was also featured in the passing game, catching 49 passes for 474 yards and three more scores.
Looking ahead to the upcoming season, the Packers are going to need Jones to have another big year. They aren’t expecting another 19 total touchdown season from him, but they need a consistent threat on the ground to help take some pressure off of Aaron Rodgers.
Obviously, expectations are high in Green Bay this season after finishing 13-3 last year in the regular season and making a run to the NFC Championship Game. The media largely expects the Packers to take a step back, but no one on the actual roster believes that.
All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three bold predictions for Aaron Jones in 2020 with the Packers.
