What To Expect From Aaron Jones In 2020
The Packers have a massive goal of winning a Super Bowl this season. No team can ever make that happen easily and it takes big performances from players across the entire roster to make it a reality. Jones is going to have to step up once again this year.
With that being said, predicting the season for any player is never an easy task. However, there are a few bold predictions we can make for Jones.
Let’s go ahead and take a look at three of those bold predictions.
Aaron Jones Racks Up 1,600 Total Yards
Due to his emergence as a weapon out of the backfield for Aaron Rodgers, Jones is going to be utilized even more in the passing game. Devin Funchess was the only offseason addition for the offense and he opted out of the season due to concerns surrounding COVID-19. LaFleur and Rodgers are going to lean heavily on Jones and 1,600 total yards is a good goal.
At Least 15 Total Touchdowns
For anyone who thought the 16 total touchdowns that Jones recorded last season were a fluke, he will back it up with 15 this year. The Packers found ways to open gaps in the red zone for Jones to run through. He will score at least 13 on the ground and will add a couple more through the air.
He Ends Up As A Top-Three Running Back
Finally, Jones is going to be viewed as an elite NFL running back following the 2020 season. He will be a top-three running back in the league from a statistical standpoint. Green Bay has a rising superstar in Aaron Jones and he is going to prove it this season.
