A.J. Terrell
Any team that is looking for a cornerback in this year’s draft, would love to get their hands on Jeffrey Okudah or C.J. Henderson. But unless the Raiders are willing to use their 12th overall pick on Henderson (if he’s still on the board), then there’s a very slim chance they get either of those guys.
Even if they don’t land one of those guys, Las Vegas should have a handful of guys to choose from at No. 19. One cornerback that the Raiders could target, surprising some, would be A.J. Terrell out of Clemson.
In his three seasons at Clemson, Terrell amassed 101 tackles, 13 deflections, and six interceptions. Terrell is a lengthy cornerback that is fluid with his footwork and can create plays when the ball is in the air.
During last year’s draft, Mike Mayock — the GM of the Raiders — showed that they he had an affinity for Clemson players, selecting Clelin Ferrell, Trayvon Mullen, and Hunter Renfrow. Considering Mayock’s desire to select Clemson players, Terrell is likely high on their draft board.
