3 cornerbacks the Raiders could target at No. 19 in the 2020 NFL Draft

Without a doubt, the two best cornerbacks in man coverage are Okudah and Henderson. After that, scouts and the media alike have had a tough time deciphering who the third best man coverage cornerback is in this year’s draft.

In recent months, Jeff Gladney is a name that has picked up steam ahead of the draft. Gladney, a redshirt senior from TCU, has four years of experience as a starter. That could be something that interests Mayock in the pre-draft process.

Over his past three seasons, Gladney has accumulated 100 tackles, 31 pass breakups, and five interceptions. While he isn’t the bulkiest cornerback, Gladney makes up for it in other areas. His best traits included his footwork and ability to get his hands involved in coverage.

Ahead of the 2020 season, the Raiders need to pair a cornerback with Mullen. Although it may be not be a popular pick at first, fans of the Raiders would grow to like Gladney if he was selected with the No. 19 pick.
