3 cornerbacks the Raiders could target at No. 19 in the 2020 NFL Draft

If the Raiders and Mayock aren’t interested in Terrell — who was a part of last year’s National Championship winning team — why not target a cornerback from this year’s National Championship winning team? While Las Vegas (or any team for that matter) would love to have a chance to take Derek Stingley Jr. already, he won’t be eligible for another two years.

However, the Raiders could find themselves entranced by Stingley’s running mate, Kristian Fulton. Even though he didn’t see much playing time in his first two seasons, Fulton put together an impressive season in 2019.

To finish his collegiate career, Fulton tallied 38 tackles, 14 pass breakups, and an interception en route to LSU’s National Championship victory. Similar to Terrell and Gladney, Fulton excels when he’s given a chance to play in man coverage.

The Raiders showed that, besides Clemson, they are infatuated with taking guys from the most successful colleges in the country. As a matter of fact, five of their first picks in the 2019 NFL Draft came from Clemson, LSU, or Alabama. Provided that, Fulton is probably going to be a cornerback that the Raiders consider at No. 19.
