Bashaud Breeland
Another option that could be on the cheaper end of the spectrum is Bashaud Breeland. Last offseason, Breeland signed a one-year deal to join the Chiefs and their quest for a Super Bowl.
The former fourth-round of the Redskins helped Kansas City secure their first championship since 1969. Following a stellar season in 2019, Breeland is hoping to find a long-term home moving forward.
In 15 starts this past season, the Clemson product tallied 48 tackles, eight deflections, two interceptions, and two fumble recoveries. With the Chiefs needing to fix their secondary in 2019, Breeland was able to help them drastically improve against the pass.
The Redskins currently lack consistency in the secondary, with a few question marks stemming from the cornerback position. After bringing back Fuller, why not reconcile with Breeland this offseason.
