3 cornerbacks the Redskins should still target in free agency

Logan Ryan

Again, with a decent amount of cap space left, the Redskins could choose to spend a bit more money in the secondary. If they want to add a proven veteran that could be a bit more expensive, Logan Ryan would be a perfect choice.

The one thing that Ryan could bring to the Redskins that the other two cornerbacks on this list can’t is a winning pedigree. Ryan, who began his career with the New England Patriots, has won two Super Bowls in his career.

In addition, he was able to help the Tennessee Titans advance to the AFC Championship Game in 2019. While Ryan has been a part of successful teams, he was able to post a remarkable season for the Titans in 2019.

The Rutgers product notched an eye-popping 113 tackles, 18 deflections, 4.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and four interceptions this past season. There aren’t going to be many cornerbacks that are as versatile as Ryan that are available in free agency or the upcoming draft.
